Lady Starlight introduced her to Missing Persons. Actually we don't credit Coleen enough around her, she was the one who opened up Gaga to this world of visual pop artistry to explore. From Bowie to Klaus Nomi to Lita Ford. Vocally Gaga wasn't that influenced by Dale, but visually she was. But as she her herself has said she's 'Not afraid to reference'. Just like she wore Grace Jones style outfits with hoods during the Just Dance era.
