Nicki Minaj's being sued for more than $200 million over her song "Rich Sex" from Nicki's 2018 album 'Queen'. Brinx Billions  (Jawara Headley) claims she ripped off after he played it for her sometime before 2016.

Brinx says he's known Nicki since 2007, when they met on MySpace, but he's still pissed his pal allegedly ripped specific lyrics, such as ... "It ain't such a thing as broke and handsome." He says her song also has similar music, musical notes, musical arrangement, musical beats and musical rhythm. He claimed he should be credited as the sole author, creator, composer, writer and producer of the song.

Jawara Headley is already credited as a writer of "Rich Sex" according to the ASCAP database.

$200 million??? :bear:

For a song that probably made less than 0.1% of that? Okay, I guess :bear:

Since he's already credited, he better be careful.  Since he's asking for sole ownership and credit, he's got a long road ahead.  If he continues to speak ill about the song and their relationship, her team could possible countersue for defamation, libel, and slander.  While they may not seek money, they could countersue for the symbolic $1, having him and his team pay for legal charges (or wasting the taxpayers money).  This would be bad for him, so he should cool it. That said, I do like the song :)

he's a credited author on the song? And therefore is already collecting royalties? So now, he's trying to say he owns all of it? To what end? and he truly believes this song is worth $200 million dollars?

Is Lil' Wayne also credited? Why is he not suing him? does Lil' Wayne have to lose his ownership piece?

And all for this song, that, in his demo, (and in my opinion) sounds like the beat was downloaded off some free file sharing site in 03'?

Methinks he's not gonna get far with this.
