If Dua delivers with her next album, I could see her only getting bigger. I’m hoping we get a few more new exciting acts. I really want a whole new era of pop girls to shake up the industry.

Gaga will transition to acting, making occasional appearances in high-budget and high-profile films, receiving some critical acclaim but no major awards.

Billy Eyelash fad will end by 2023, her goth, over-emo sound will become something that angsty junior high kids listen to, but nobody else.

Ariana Grande will get married and take an extended break from music. Her streaming will still be strong and she will do a tour(s), but no new output or chart domination.

Rihanna will never release new music, instead focusing 100% on Savage x Fenty

Beyonce can never top Lemonade peak and she won't try: instead, The Carters will release an EP in 2022 before focusing on managing Roc Nation together.

Normani could only own the 2020 decade if Fifth Harmony reunites.

Camila could only own the 2020 decade if Fifth Harmony reunites.

Ava Max will continue to do well on the AC format and international streams will be impressive, but her lack of originality and her limited exposure in the U.S will prevent her from getting anywhere near "own the 2020s" status.

Taylor Swift will be the top-grossing touring act of 2022, but will cycle out by the middle of the decade.

DUA LIPA will sell 500,000+ first-week copies of her third-album, and will reach #1 with its lead single. Her peak will arrive in the U.S, as she sells out arenas and headlines Coachella. Her music videos will continue to garner critical acclaim and she will become a regular at the VMAs. Her fourth album will be a more experimental sound, but it will still stay grounded in pop and club music (rock and metal influence will creep in), and it will earn her an AOTY nomination along with several fan-voted awards. She will continue to sell out arenas, and just when we think she's on a downward trend, a collab with a hot new artist will drop and catapult her to new relevancy. Dua will be widely accepted as Queen of 2020s by the end of the decade

No one here tbh, a new artist is going to emerge and take the decade. This is how I see the listen ones doing.

Gaga continues to release some music throughout the decade but focus on acting and different venture. Tbh for her legacy acting is a great way to go as she’ll be more memorable for the GP

Billy Eilish I can see her going down the Gaga route at the start of the 2010s. Her next album will be huge but overexposure may get to her. After that I’m not really sure where she’ll go, she could end up ruling the decade

Ariana Grande she won’t be as successful as the late 10s but will still have success and be consistent

Rihanna will have a lot less music unfortunately. But whatever she will release will be successful as always (kinda sad tho I really thought she could’ve beat the Beatles for #1s as she’s still such a streaming and digital sales force)

Beyonce I see releasing 3 maybe 2 products with some side projects. I really see her going down the Rihanna route though as she’s dipping her toes with Ivy Park.

Normani - Girl we need an album first before we can even imagine her career. Not really sure as the hype has died down but she could shock me (hopefully)

Camila it all heavily depends on her next album. If it flops she’s not coming back (unfortunately). Other than that I can see her being a force for the next decade.

Ava Max won’t own the 20s. Unless she miraculously starts getting some more traction I don’t see her doing much. I see her going down the Charli XCX & Carly Rae route.

Taylor Swift will still remain a force for the first half of the decade and then she’ll still be successful but not as powerful as she’ll be solidifying her legacy and touring a lot

Dua Lipa I don’t really see being a force. I honestly see her doing how Ellie Goulding did. Great US success at the beginning and then mediocre success and then fade out. I only see this as I just think when US radio drops her, like every other female, that’ll be the end of her US success, which hopefully won’t happen as she deserves it. Still very successful in the UK tho

Adele will just be Adele. She’s in a league of her own

so much jealousy towards Dua girl, she have fire and ambition, that Ellie and her constipated a$$ never had 0.001% of Dua's iconic presence, talent etc

Someone new

By 2025, a new generation will be in control of pop culture and the majority of artists/pop singers will be born after the year 2000

thinking about this is so trippy.

Dua and Ava seem like they both could get more traction this decade, but I'm guessing Dua over Ava. I could see Ava having more success among younger audiences as her music is more pure pop and very fun and relatable, wheras Dua has a lot more depth and influences and references in her work that older audiences enjoy more (by older I mean people in their mid twenties or older)

Gaga is on the edge of becoming a legacy artist at this point in my opinion, I don't see her having another reigning moment ever but she will never stop being relevant. She's done her work at this point to become a legacy pop girl like Madonna or Mariah. My guess for her is she will release LG7 in 2022 or 23 then get married and have a family, focus more on activism and her film career, but frequently flow in and out of music eras.

Dua is skyrocketing in popularity and relevance right now and DL3 will explode. I can feel it. It's going to be interesting to see how these artists grow and evolve over the next ten years.
