Don't try to reason with that user. They are just bitter Gaga isn't working herself to near death anymore. Let them wallow to death in their own grave; it's where they deserve to be at the end of the day

Some people are so over dramatic! Tbh, I don't blame her for not communicating with fans when they behave the way they do.

It really hurts your case when you make false claims like this. Now you're just distorting history to fit your narrative that Gaga is a lazy sell-out; which again is inaccurate.

How do you explain her promoting Haus Labs more than her most recent record that's not even a year old?

She's probably somehow contractually obligated. Same with Tudor, Valentino, Lamborghini, and OREO. That's how brand deals work

Tudor, Valentino, etc. are external to her, which certainly involves contractual obligations.

Haus Labs is her brand though. She owns it, and it’s not some external company.

Totally different things...

She could still have contractual duties within the company, especially with makeup retailers or Amazon.

Chromatica is AMAZING. Yet, it lacks something compared to the ARTPOP or even C2C eras. It's not organic.

I have no complaints about the music so I'm mostly talking about this timeframe of her career.

She used to be much more close to the fans, whether it be on social media, backstage, at tours (fan letters, speeches)... but now, everything seems to be calculated and repeated.

Most of what she posts on social media is promo written by her team or brand deals stuff.

In the past months we've had Valentino, LG, the car thing, Apple, Haus Labs, Oreos, Adobe and more...

All that for one live performance and one interview.

She writes paragraphs about how great Haus Labs is, she floods her insta with it, she shoots promo and interviews about it... but her return to pop album gets paid dust.

To me it's very clear that it's now bling before the music (and by music I mean art in general). Haus Labs has nothing to do with Gaga artistically. Enigma was a cheap parody of her past self.

She went on that Vegas stage in cheap-looking costumes (that never changed, whereas her past tour almost always had a surprise for every date), sang her old stuff and repeated the EXACT. SAME. SPEECHES. every night for 1 million. Doesn't that sound cash-grabby to you?

Meanwhile, at the Jazz & Piano shows, she interacted with the audience and was feeling herself.

Haus Labs. She raves about how she loves makeup and wants her brand... And she gives us black plastic packaging with the white Arial font. The same old nudes + jewel tones colors. There's nothing fresh about that brand. If you still haven't understood that Amazon wanted their cosmetic line and that this is it, you're blind.

She's been doing brand partnerships for years, so I really have no problem with that. What I do notice tho is that they are 85% of her content now, and THAT is something to worry about. And if you're not noticing it, you're lying to yourself. Take a look at her insta. I'm barely even exagerating.

At the end of the day, the music and the MVs are great, so I'm thankful. But we are excited about her work than she is, and that is... weird. You can't tell me all she had in mind while creating that masterpiece was ONE live performance of it?

I find it ironic how y'all trashed her for being too passionate about ARTPOP because it didn't fit your standards. I find it ironic how y'all trashed her for a "messy" era (which was ten times more eventful than this one) whose failure was out of her control.

Because y'all are the ones that are angry at us for noticing the lack of commitment, which this time is not the manager's fault.

Chromatica is great. It deserved better. It AT LEAST deserved more attention than Haus Labs. That's all.

Honestly Gagas focus is slowly shifting to acting and I cant wait for that, since acting is a lot more interesting than music (to me at least).

Chromatica is my favorite album of hers and while it may have not been promoted as much as I would have liked, it doesnt really matter. If you are fed up with an artist, just stan another artist for a while. Gaga kinda created this "cult" when it comes to her fans and now it comes back to bite her. Fans that dont even really like her anymore cant let go of her persona from 10 years ago so now they cant appreciate anything anymore. At the end of the day stanning should be a fun thing, but some people on this forum literally hate everything she does lately.:toofunny:

This is the woman who did The Fame, The Fame Monster, Born This Way, ARTPOP eras (not talking about the music, just the ERAS). I find it weird that people don't see the difference between these eras where she was constanly creating art and the last 2 eras which were very very very far from them.
When you know Gaga's potential and see what she did during Joanne/Chromatica it's very frustrating

I agree with you.

Unfortunately, it’s very clear that she’s burned out. She’s simply exhausted. She’s had her hip injury, dealing with fibromyalgia, a dark relationship with fame, failed relationships, trauma from sexual assault, other mental issues, etc. I definitely think she lost a lot of passion for her career when she had that fallout with Troy during the ARTPOP era, but that’s besides the point. It saddens me so much.

I love and respect her with all my heart. I just want her to be happy, because I think it’s so obvious that something isn’t quite right right now. Idk, but we don’t know everything that goes on in her life (and rightfully so). You guys are so hard on her, you treat her like a robot sometimes. I’m disappointed with the Chromatica era too but complaining about it everyday and criticizing her isn’t really gonna solve anything.

How am I distorting history? I literally gave examples of what I’m talking about. Lack of singles, no promo for the lead, no real WW tours etc. Those are all facts, not « false claims » like you said. And I never called her lazy. Her priorities have shifted from music, and the treatment of the last 2 eras fit that narrative without distorting anything.

Gaga did do a world tour but she had to cancel half of it due to her fibromyalgie and she also did the superbowl and a dove bar tour is not enough for you

nnnn you truly need to see a doctor if you think performing your song at award shows once a month or two means “working near to death “ to you :rip:

there are people working 10-12 hours a day in some countries , some people are truly living in their own bubble :rip:

I think that user was referring to her past promo not not the present one

Gaga still reads fan letters and even gets them on the stage, she even nearly injured herself last year when falling off whilst hugging a fan....

No disrespect to you but I just wonder why you “Stan” someone if you think they are calculated and only care about money etc.

Have you ever been to a Gaga show? She literally does the same set list, makes the same speeches, and wears the same outfits at every city on tour. Even the Born This Way Ball had "calculated" speeches throughout the narrative. Once again people are re-writing history with things that never happened to prove a point that doesn't exist :toofunny:

The silence and the fact that nothing Chromatica related has happened since October. I don't think that she doesn't care, but clearly, she isn't interested in communicating with fans

How do you jump from no promo to she’s not interested in talking to us

Like there’s literally no other plausible explanation in your mind?

The WW tour term should not be used when only visiting America and a few countries in Europe but I guess that’s just my opinion. It’s also fine that she cancelled it because of her health Im not mad about that, but let’s not pretend that the dive bar tour showed as much passion, effort and interest as previous eras. Didn’t she also cancel the second dive bar tour? Or promise there would be another one or something? Also, lack of singles, quality videos and communication is independent from body pain.
Why can’t people just accept this era for what it is? Why must there always be an excuse or argument?
