Paradise is definitely Lanas best work artistically and quality wise. Not a single skip on the record

but it definitely doesn’t take the crown for best of all time.

Also Ride as the album opener... so extremely beautiful. Paradise seals the Born to die experience with even more creative divinity. And Body Electric... i'd like to hear other songs written with only 2 chords that are that hauntingly good

It was the last good thing she actually did

I'm curious in why you didn't like UV or NFR

Okay wait I’ll make an exception for NFR.  But I don’t know.  I just loved the hip hop influences on her first album and when she steered away from that sound, I lost interest.

I agree, even though it's her worst release it's still miles ahead of others :applause:

I’m also in the minority, with my fave Lana release also being Paradise.

It’s her literal Fame Monster era. A repackage is the first album, but a creative evolution. Both are technically EPs, but both had their own sound, visuals, and are treated as an overall separate album era from the first.

Incredibly dark, epic, and cinematic production.  Wow.

She really did that

I love Paradise as an EP because it has a great conceptual theme that, in a full album, would not have been so concise. I think the EP is cohesive, with no fillers, and I really can’t fault it. In regards to albums, UV and NFR remain unbothered
