For months he blocked stimulus checks because they were too high, and now Trump is (correctly) asking for more. I am not going to give Trump much credit though because I'm not going to pretend as if there isn't a coup going on right now. In addition, if he was serious about $2k checks all this time, then he should have campaigned on it and rallied his Party to support it. He could have won. But if course that didn't happen.
