I love that its less polished because I love the oldschool B movie vibe. And using Zoey is smart move. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of audible dialogue on top of the music in the middle part of the song. She just had a baby yet there is no sign of reconciliation within these stans. THAT is making me question my dedication with pop music when all the other people are lowkey supporting this behaviour by simply stanning regardless if they are up for that sort of negativity or not. I seriously am thinking of unstanning Gaga not bc of her but these fans. How these pop girls are being treated by their those fans is disgusting and has nothing to do with a community or fan base. I despise referring myself as a Little Monster when the actions of very few people of that group is enough to making it hard for Gaga to differ her own projections of distain and mistrust within that group of people... what is going on with Katy is just a very exaggerated example of how less power a pop star of that manner actually has to resist from the pressure coming from a few people of one’s own fan base. And we‘re seeing a very similar pattern with stans belonging on GGD or other platforms who are following Gaga. Taylor Swift stated that this behaviour is connected to the fact that mainly female pop stars are experiencing this. I wish there are examples that debunk that claim because right now there are none to prove her wrong. That is making me ask myself even more why I am still contributing to a platform where simply being part of it is nourishing such misogynistic behaviour. It's no wonder this generates what we nowadays call stan culture. Isn't it ludicrous to promote changing clothes all the mothereffen time, never wear the same thing twice, when we know that most of theses clothes are made by slaves with chemical products ? Sometimes I think that what we have as a pop culture is a disgusting freakshow... God marketing. Do you wanna worship another human while your own life flies away ? And the thing is, now even the blandest lady out there can sing, 'they' know they can find both : pretty girls and pipes... The improved their products. Everyone is amazing. There all "queens"... My advice would be to really start deciding not to insult our souls anymore, and to listen to think that really move us without being too negative towards something that is just supposed to entertain you.
