Lady Gaga rants under oath in pay battle with former personal assistant

Lady Gaga unloaded on a former personal assistant who’s suing her for overtime pay — blasting the woman in a sworn deposition as a “f–king hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn’t earn.”

“She’s just — she thinks she’s just like the queen of the universe,” Gaga ranted, court records obtained by The Post show. “And, you know what, she didn’t want to be a slave to one, because in my work and what I do, I’m the queen of the universe every day.”

The “Born This Way” singer couldn’t maintain her poker face, either, shooting a nasty aside at ex-aide Jennifer O’Neill near the start of Gaga’s marathon, six-hour testimony in a Midtown Manhattan law office.

“Are you going to stare at me like a witch this whole time — honestly?” Gaga asked. “Because this is going to be a long f–k ng day that you brought me here.”

Gaga even had some choice words for one of O’Neill’s lawyers, Paul Millus, at one point answering him: “No, no, no. Listen, listen, sir, if you’re going to ask me questions for the next five hours, I am going to tell you exactly what f–king happened, so that the judge can read on this transcript exactly what’s going on.”

Even worse, Gaga said, O’Neill refused to share any pillows with two other women. “And she said, ‘No, I need my three pillows so I can sleep,’ ” Gaga said. “I heard it. I immediately was so sick by it and upset that I turned over and went back to sleep.”

Sis why are you bringing this back up? This still comes up on social media on occasion and gets Gaga dragged to hell because people don't remember or know the full story...also, the NY Post's coverage was slanted against Gaga. The assistant was a white girl (there are photos of her) who compared heating Gaga's food to being a slave (a cringey comparison to make) & so Gaga mocked her back. But you can guess what the twitter crazies assume—that the assistant wasn't white when she was in fact a white girl—in an effort to make Gaga look bad.

Not that Gaga was entirely in the right—both she and the assistant f*cked up, but I side eye the assistant more for multiple reasons. At the end of the day, if I recall correctly Gaga was paying the girl for a full 40 hour work week & not working her over the limit but the problem was something like Gaga had no set schedule for the 40 hrs and so she technically owed the girl overtime.

Also, even if Gaga was technically wrong the assistant was a piece of work. A white girl who compared having to fetch food to being a slave in court, stole from Gaga, implied that Gaga sexually harassed her (I don't think she outright claimed it but it was clear what she was implying), etc. Like I'm sure Gaga wasn't a picnic during the era due to her mental health issues/drug issues at the time, but fetching food/heating food up is literally what a personal assistant is supposed to do and comparing it to slave labor is delulu.

Anyway, for some reason I remember this case...particularly because it was when the public was a peak Gaga hate & the Post was ripping into her even though some other sources had way more fair coverage..but of course the Post dominated the headlines/internet.
