No one is receiving any money, but you're literally on a Gaga forum complaining that people won't give you their last dime. What if they want to give their children Christmas gifts or go grocery shopping, or pay the electric bill because it's winter. People only received $1200 8 months ago. That doesn't last long AT ALL.

People are broke. No one is giving you their last dollar. Get over it.

A personal experience from one person is not a source we can rely on. If you can show me that people really have money and are doing this across the country then please show receipts and verifiable sources. If this is personally happening to you, then maybe being a slumlord isn't your thing.

Unless English is not your forte, I said people impacted should get the money, not those not impacted like myself, a landlord or those who see it as a way to lie and get money or not pay rent. So are you said pre-covid, a fraudulent paycheck or offer letter should be accepted by credit companies and landlords?

Y'all are so twisted and need help because the bullying you are doing to me when I said I didn’t deserve money and that we should give money to those actually hurt by the pandemic is something not to bully someone about.

My salary has nothing to do with bad debt or delinquent accounts, so I assure you that is not the case. It is about putting money in the hands of those who need it, not the people who still and have had 100% pay post covid when compared to pre-covid.

No one is bullying you, but you're acting like people are receiving thousands of dollars and are just choosing not to pay you. That's not the case at all and you know that. I have mentioned several times that $1200 was supposed to last us all of 2020. 

No one is refusing to pay you. The government does not give enough to pay any rent. I'm sorry that you're stuck in that position, but millions are much worse off than simple debt. People are dying, going homeless, and starving. 

If you want the government to cover the rents that aren't being paid, then why are you making it more difficult for millions to receive anything? You should be contacting Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the senate about your concerns and not take it out on poor people who can't pay you and are struggling to survive.

I am not saying they should be evicted. I received the $1,200 check, but I wasn’t impacted. Imagine the money that was given to those who didn’t need it and add it to those who do?

I understand that's a huge concern, but guess how much corporations made from relief bills? Billions. We should make it more difficult for rich and wealthy corporations to receive any funds, rather than making it more difficult for average Americans. 

I can assure you that corporations receiving millions in bailouts is much worse than people who make less than 100k receiving a one time stimulus check.

If everyone can stop quoting me. I want to exit this thread. I use this site to socialize and try to not be a homebody and depressed. Not trying to guilt trip anyone, but obviously I have triggered people and I assure you my intention is to help those who need it vs those who do not need the spare cash that will result in higher taxes for everyone I am sure. I will log off just go think about some more reasons why I am not worthy of friends, family, or even existing. Thanks.

I’ve had bad experiences with landlords, but I certainly wouldn’t want to label every one of them as money hungry assholes. One of my landlords actually took my rent for an apartment for the semester down by $1,000 because I had rented from them before. My friends have had landlords check by and bring meals or stuff like blankets and candles, or randomly choose a tenant to receive a free dinner from somewhere. I have a really shitty and shady landlord right now and have had the same one since the pandemic, but like literally everyone else on this Earth (whether you like it or not, somehow it’s been working since the dawn of time), landlords are MAKING A LIVING. Restaurant owners would give away meals for free? Banks would give away free loans? Dealerships will give cars out for free so that people can drive to work in the middle of a pandemic? No. Unless a business/ owner of any kind is granted relief money from the government, they don’t owe you ANYTHING, you owe them, it says so right in the contract

Oh what a nice man. Once, a multimillionaire said "here, take $1.000". Since then, I can't but defend and lick their boots like my life depends on it. Bankers are evicting people from their homes due to shitty policies, you say? Poor people who couldn't even get to the end of the month can't feed their families because the bankers keep asking them for money, you say? Oh, don't you worry! I know what I'm talking about. This multimillionare gave me a thousand dollars once.

I am not afraid of calling landlords money hungry assholes. Because that's what they are, living with more than enough and getting away with exploiting their clients time and time again. They're unnecessary and bring nothing but further class discontent.

How does the middle/lower middle class break away from these ‘money hungry assholes’? I’m sure the millions in the US that can’t afford a down payment would love to know. And I’m sure struggling landlords that can’t afford their payments to the bank but don’t feel they should be/aren’t legally able to collect from tenants would love to know as well.

I ask you with an open mind and spirit; I’m not trying to fight. I do believe the commercial real estate realm is long overdue for a rehaul and has been crushing human beings worldwide for decades, as those with billions are able dictate residential prices by means of nothing else but proximity. I see the problem, but am not sure what action can/should be taken.
