Imagine thinking that being scolded by your boss for breaking covid-protocols is workplace harrassment and violence. :lmao:

it is though. your boss cannot scream aggressively at you like this for breaking a protocol. we dont even know what they "broke"

Isn't obvious? Tom was ranting about an employee breaking safety protocols. And if you bother to look up, you will know the rant comes after two crew members reportedly were not standing within 2 meters (about 6 feet) of one another while on set for the film.

Besides, legally speaking, your boss, supervisors and managers are allowed to yell at employees. It's perfectly legal for a boss to yell at his employees. Yelling, and insulting are legal management methods in all  U.S. States. If your boss targets you for abuse because you're a woman or because of your race or religion, that's another story. Yelling is legal; discriminatory yelling is not.

Stephen

He's a corrupt, evil scientologist no wonder he got so irate. He's used to being king of the world and having everyone follow everything he says. :fthis:

He's literally the boss for this movie that is currently filming. He have responsibility to keep things in order and reprimand employees when they break rules than just stand there and letting whatever goes. :yennefer:

Honestly I wish he were my boss. :poot: Soo many of my coworkers break company policy by not wearing their masks correctly and not social distancing.

I get the yelling thing but insulting others is also allowed?  :saladga:

Yup. So long no targeted racist/xeno/misogynistic/homophobic attack, everything else is legal.

Saying "Hey motherf#cker...do that again and you're fired!" Is a perfectly legal phrase anyone can say to anybody. 😆 When profanity in the workplace crosses the line depends on audience, context and tone.

Hes def too violent and his tone even lets out a sign of trying to not sound agressive. As i hear it

But do you have any idea the costs ans implications for the whole crew.

In september they were filming in venice and had to stop again cause of team members tracing positive. Took them 2 months to come back here and it also was like that in rome if i remember correctly.

The rotation of the movie came in about 1 month pre covid in italy, its been dragging and dragging. Ofc thats no ones fault. But be responsible if not for other citizens, at least as work ethic. Or is that not important

Um, he really didn't need to freak out like that and the fact that some of you are defending this is just. :koons:

So two employees got closer than 6 feet? Maybe it was an accident. He could have calmly pulled them aside and told them politely not to do it again. It doesn't require a maniacal freakout. He really needs some anger management courses.

Who said that was the issue? You can see in the video, and if you've ever worked on a set, being six feet apart at all times is kinda impossible. Which means all other protection measures need to be followed to the T to make up for it. I think they probably had their masks off. Everything he said was on point -- the insurance calls, the industry wide unemployment etc. This was not an egregious curse out considering the context.  After a year of Covid, we all know that one person's f#ckup can ultimately effect 100s of lives.
