I'm keen to believe that he did it unpurposely, maybe he lacks information
but the way people are trying more desperately to stand by the white straight male does not surprise me. at. all.

I'll be controversial and say that many of us use he and she and they is not natural and so we're bound to make that mistake in english. In my language there's no gender fluid pronoun, so it gets complex but you can't start insulting Shawn for making that mistake. We've been living in a world with he and she pronouns, this is the first time people start talking about gender fluid pronouns. I have to be honest and say in my own language they started giving multiple different pronouns for different 'genders'. I am not sure how that can ever be applied in the world. In social media perhaps easier since people now put their pronouns in their bio. But in the real world I cannot know how someone feels. And maybe Shawn wasnt aware of how Sam Smith feels, But anyways Shawn has no malice in him he seems like a great guy

Why are people making a big fuss over this if Sam Smith did not make a fuss over it?

Spoiler

Because they have nothing better to do

Is there a video of it?

I highly doubt that it was done intentionally, but you'd think someone on his team would have informed Shawn before the show to avoid this. Either way, this will be forgotten in a week's time. :bear:

This is what happens when some people who live on Twitterland, the land of the woke, get a shock of reality. Not everyone will agree with you, get over it. Just because you strongly believe something or feel like something, it doesn't mean that it's true. Facts are undebatable.

Has Sam said anything or even acknowledged what happened yet? The pop culture stans have this idea that celebrities are the most important people on Earth, and everything revolves around them. Guess what? It doesn't. Your powerful and revolutionary tweets, which are liked and shared by the group of people who agree with you, has no impact on real life. Cancel culture is a failure (take the whole JK Rowling situation as an example) because it's practiced by people who just sit around all day long, feeling like they have the duty to defend people or causes which have not impacted their lives, instead of going out and actually doing something
