Just a few days ago there was a topic saying the UK will be short on foods for the next months because of this... So not being able to feed your citizens is a big clue that HELL YES IT WILL BE

we used to be a country of great statespeople but lately it seems our politicians collectively have only one brain cell. the idiocy is shocking and I fear that the tories are going to go full GOP

Well, I hope it will be a mess. Imagine the UK actually being better off with a Brexit... More countries will likely follow. But don't care about that either tbh

Can't support an Union with members like Poland and Hungary that get lots and lots of money but ignore basic human rights and democracy

I hope it won’t. They need to set a good example with this. I hope my country will leave the EU some day. Sooner rather than later.

It's been a mess since day one.

It clearly shows feelings of separatism, snobbery and general bigotry within the country.

It won't benefit anyone and at the end they will reverse all the sh*t when they find the whole thing iinconvenient.

I'm speaking mostly in the years to come. There will be important consequences, and it will cost them a lot of money... People won't be happy. 

I picture the UK asking for new deals with the EU, to then go back to it or another version of it.

 the union won’t exist by 2025 thanks to Brexit, Scotland and NI will rejoin the EU

Labour originally campaigned for Remain. After the result of the referendum came out, they went along with the publics choice to leave but advocated for a "soft Brexit" after much dithering.

There were some parties campaigning for a second referendum, I think Lib Dems and SNP off the top of my head but I might be wrong.

Yes it has been since day 1- an act of national stupidity, with a bunch of politicians who have no grasp on reality and who forget that we are just a small rock in the Atlantic ocean. 

The irony is that the people who will be most heavily impacted by this are those groups who largely voted for this moronic idea in the first place. Bet they won't be so happy when jobs vanish, food costs more etc etc

If we weren't in the middle of the worst atrocity humanity has seen in 6 decades then the more informed of us Brits would be on the streets rioting about the real possibility of a no-deal Brexit.

Yes. Very possible. In five years, ten years, whenever, the current crop of politicians will be history and it might be obvious that the best thing to do is apply to rejoin.
