Has anyone forgotten how Beyonce hasn't written most of her hits she just adds harmonies and aranges some vocals nd lyrics nd calls it songwriting nd gets credit for it nd then goes on to get hundreds of nominations every year. she won song of the year for single ladies a song she didn't even write ffs. Poker Face is one my fav songs of all times nd I wouldn't have minded if Single Ladies won if the all of the writers were the ones who actually won it nd not miss stealing and buying credits. l respect her as performer and as vocalist I think she's amazing at stage but when it comes to artistry and songwriting the whole thing feels bland cause u can tell it didn't come from her. I mean sure it's nice what she adds to the music but to treat her like a goddess nd attack the **** ouf of those who voice a different opinion on her when other artist are pouring their heart and blood into making great music get treated like **** and go unnoticed is irritating At least Taytay coldplay adele(even tho I think she's overrated) are heavily involved in the craft and the creation of their music, they're the soul and the reason why that music came to life It's not their fault if the scammys loves them and snubs underrated artists and The Weeknd's snub (even tho i'm not a fan) was beyond catastrophic they just lost all credibility they could've nominated him and probably get away with their other suspicious noms but they had to **** it didn't they I bet those who keep critizing coldplay's nom haven't even listened to the album yet At this point The Scammys should just be cancelled not only for their corruption but for the mess it makes after the noms and the wins, music is subjective and should be appreciated for what it is, it ain't something to compete with no matter how big or critically acclaimed the winner is. She's been in the industry for several years now and they love to give her the spot every single time... What bothers me (and I guess people in general) is that there's only one spot. She's the only one, and there are so many amazing artists out there who are changing the game and deserve the spot on them. Why still give it to someone who already proved herself and has so many awards? I don't get that part and it's just fishy. There's no substance anymore. Everyone surprised when they see her nominations c'mon. She did nothing impactful with this music. It was impactful for BLM movement but the music is a big no. Not Grammy worthy.
