Nah, I don't agree with Nicki on this. The Grammy should go to somebody who puts their heart and soul into their art. She was popular that year but that's because she had catchy songs.

I feel like people are never satisfied. Whenever a man wins, they say a woman deserves it. Whenever a white person wins, they say a black person deserves it. When a less known artist wins, they say the one on top of the charts should win. Art is so subjective and awards like the Grammys should not exist. It's like people patting themselves on the back, when we should just enjoy the music

by the way i like nicki. i just don't think of her as a passionate quality driven artist. she does things for financial success. nothing wrong with that. but i'm not confused as to why the grammys would snub her

Nicki being self-centered and making it all about herself. Bon Iver is considered by everyone outside her fanbase to be a better/more interesting/more innovative and talented artist.
