Economy 49,897
Assuming future movies and roles she's in have at least moderate levels of success, Gaga mixing acting with music I feel will keep her relevant for many years more than her peers and contemporaries (Katy Perry, Adele, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, newer artists like Dua Lipa as well) One thing is that music is more ageist than Hollywood. It's rare for artists over 40 to have a lot of success and have hits and chart toppers and for female artists it's even harder. Even if they are successful in terms of having a devoted fan base and having big tours and making lots of money in terms of being very talked about or having new hit material it's very hard Movies and tv on the other hand actors and actresses sometimes can have hit movies even when they are much older simply because many movies and stories have older people in them plain and simple If you look at Cher and Barbara Streisand for example, the last few decades of their career saw limited success music wise (Cher had that one big hit at age 52 but that was a rare outlier event). But they managed to remain somewhat relevant to general public because of their success in the acting portion of their careers which gave them a constant boost! Even Chers #1 hit Believe at age 52 (oldest #1 by a woman ever) maybe would not have been achieved without acting keeping her name relevant in the first place The point is Gaga's peers will slowly fade because it's just what happens in music when u get older and u can't avoid it. But because Gaga is being taken seriously as an actress, if that continues it will continue to be a constant little boost in her career and keep her relevant long after her peers are not even if they are remembered as legends as well
lifeasgeorge 9,427
Honestly I’m grateful for this, we will always have new material to look forward to and she will stay relevant in the public eye. I adored the ASIB era not just for the acclaim but for all the awards shows and red carpets, it was so fun to follow from the day the first trailer dropped. I can’t wait for these upcoming roles live and let live
PartySick 160,751
She's going to be one of those names that everyone knows for years to come. Her career will outlive her just like the greatest artists out there You're stinky
Guest Adarsh
She’s truly gonna be the Barbra Streisand of this generation and I’m here for it
CannaeDrive 3,412
Agree, the fact that the Movie industry has more reach globally, both in terms of geography and public demography, than the Music industry will greatly contribute to her longevity and relevancy. RRR 3,996
Movie stars aren't as viciously attacked in the same way as female popstars, so this is great
Gagaism 11,892
She will definitely get to remain relevant for years to come. Each time she has delivering talent and dedication so I can see her turning out to be one of those great global actresses. I’m always so proud of her, it’s feels so good that my heart chose her as my favorite artist.
elijahfan 26,310
I think all the conditions are there for her to have a great film career. She already has the notoriety to trigger interest, and she proved she had the chops, all she gotta do is choose the right projects. That's why I'm so very glad she doesn't jump at the first opportunities coming her way, and doesn't seem to be in any rush to go back to the big screen (I mean, it's already been 2 years since ASIB). It seems like she's gonna handle this intelligently, and I couldn't be happier about it.

Killa 17,491
The future def seems proimising for her acting career. I just wont sing hurray just yet. Theres a lot of people ready to stone her. Now shes in a confortable place where the media is good, the public isnt going completely overboard but still support. So its not really cool to come for her. But as soon as the public shows interest in defaming her, the media will jump ship. Its easy to come for someone like gaga. Anyways i cant wait for her next role. Hope she can enjoy it

Seeing Gaga being a lead actress in a movie was a great feeling and then when she started getting praised and awards was literally incredible. Her being in movies will make us excited to see more stuff and the overall wait for her albums will be a lot easier to handle so It's a win-win
Ronk 14,762
Totally agree. And she has a legacy that will continue long after her music and acting is forgotten. She will live within the lives of the descendants of the people who's lives she saved. Her love, kindness, and positivity will be passed on generation to generation because some are influenced by her messages. She has an effect on some people's lives, and that plays forward. People who never heard of Gaga will benefit because she existed. Look at it this way; someone shows kindness to another because of Gaga's message. That second person wasn't expecting to receive kindness and was moved by it and may be more inclined to show another person kindness sometime in the future. And so it begins. And so Gaga lives on. Her longest lasting and most important legacy is already set into motion. I live outside the space time continuum.

I think 52 tho Eitherway no, no one broke that record. At least not among females anyway. She's the only one to hit #1 over 50 Madonna almost at 50 (I think she was 49) almost got to the top with "4 minutes" but it ended up peaking at #3 so she's the only one who got close to Cher... And even then she featured JT whereas Cher went actually #1 over 50 and solo
