The hypocrisy of it all. The democrats are always fine with the results of the election as long as it goes their way. Have you all forgotten the fuss caused by the Democrats when George Bush was elected in 2000? Gore contested it and even when he conceded, a recount of votes took place that was paid for by the very people who were telling you to shut up and accept the results of this current election. In 2004, when Bush was re-elected, another attempt to block Congress’ counting of electoral votes. And in 2016, Trump won because of collusion with Russia. Obama in 2008 and 2012? Nope, nothing to see here, everything’s fine!

The Republicans have every right to question the results of this election, just like the democrats have previously, and if Sidney Powell is indeed able to back up the claims she’s made then it is in the interest of ALL American citizens regardless of who you voted for and these investigations should be encouraged.

Are you being intentionally dense?

Why should Trump just accept his loss when the Democrats have done everything Trump is doing now when previous elections haven’t gone their way? What’s good for the goose and all that...

Are you seriously comparing these events to what’s going on now?

The 2000 election was won with ONE state by less than a thousand votes.

This election was won by Biden by more than 50 points. It’s not even a close race.

And studies show Al Gore actually had a shot at winning, in fact a state recount would have probably given him the win.

As of the Russian story... There was actual Russian collusion as confirmed by the Trump team. Still waiting on the proof of widespread voter fraud tho.

Oh and... Even if there was Russian interference... Hillary shut the **** up and conceded. They complained after, but when they lost the election, they accepted the results.

I really think Trump’s purpose is to tear the country apart at the seams.  Whatever it takes.  Starting with our faith in our democracy.  He’s doing the dirty work for our enemies.  Mark it down.

Fake news? It’s been in the OP since I open the thread, maybe if you both took a little time to read, is not 139 votes :sharon:

it’s 153K the “K” means thousands lol :sharon:

Doesn’t change anything but not you both creating your one count lol what kind of “republicans want a recount reverse experience” is this?

It is 139 votes. A total of 153k votes in the district in question were cast, 139 of those had to be tossed from discrepancies while the county commissioner race was decided by 10 votes, in the end that specific county commissioner race has to go to a revote because the discrepancies surpass the margin of win.

Ayesha Erotica

there's no way Biden can be president as long as Trump and the uncorrect votes scenario is going on

there will be two inaugurations in January, one for Trump and one for Biden

watch CNN for Biden's inauguration and OANN for Trump's inauguration

To address this Gish gallop:

* 2000 was 400 votes in one county of Florida. Gore would had won in 2000 if the ballot in that one county was not so poorly designed.

* 2004 was only one state, Ohio, and the concern was that the votes for Bush were coming from electronic voting machines which did not leave a paper trail to audit the votes. Bush did win this one, fair and square, but the fact that the vote counting could not be monitored and audited was a very legitimate concern. Especially since the president of the company that made the voting machines was a Bush supporter.

* The Russian interference in the 2016 election has been confirmed by multiple independent reliable sources. For details: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_interference_in_the_2016_United_States_elections For the record, Clinton, unlike Trump, accepted the election results.

* Trump lost because he lost the conservative female suburban vote. Separating kids form their parents and putting those kids in cages tends to lose that voting block: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump_administration_family_separation_policy

While i believe he could be this evil, i don't think he gives a flying f*** about the country. He doesn't care if we're united, torn apart, or whatever. All he wants is more money to repay his campaign debt. Shameful.

You all seem very concerned to me.

1) Trump is still the POTUS and he has every right to question the result of the election if he believes it necessary to do so regardless of your "opinion".

2) And if he is, as you all say, making a fool of himself and everything is legit then let him make a fool of himself.

3) You shouldn’t have any concerns about him contesting the results, unless of course you believe that they may have uncovered major fraud or negligence.

4) So, have a seat and relax. There’s nothing to worry about right? :awkney:

1. Lady, the only reason Trump is questioning the results is because he wants to be an autocrat who doesn’t need voters to stay in power.

2. Please read up on some of the history of how dictatorships get formed. Let me give you a clue: Often times, a dictator is voted in to power, then dismantles elections, as Trump is attempting to do.

3. The issue isn’t whether there is election fraud (hint: There isn’t). The concern is that Trump will use the lie that there is election fraud (and if you actually understood Orwell’s 1984, you would understand how dictators use compulsive lying to stay in power)

4. While I think our separation of powers and the integrity of people is strong enough to get Trump out of office, please read up more on international politics and how dictators stay in power. Here’s a clue: Many countries right now, such as Russia or Belarus, run sham elections to keep their dictators in power.

There’s an excellent New York Times piece which should how Trump’s challenging of the election results is out of the standard playbook autocrats and dictators use. I would look it up and give you a link, but I don’t think you would read it. EDIT: Here you go. Some clue: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/11/world/europe/trump-autocrats-dictators.html

Yes, lady, I can make this personal too.
