If BABYMETAL or Within Temptation are a part of it, I might be interested :gayhat:

Japan has some interesting stuff going on.  I'm partial to Aldious and Band Maid.

Idk, they're still lacking smth for me, that BABYMETAL has   (I can't even tell what it is  ).

If you didn't already, you should definitely check out BABYMETAL. Their live shows are insane  . These 2 are my absolute favorite:

For context: This was the show after Su-Metal's (the lead singer) 16th birthday and this song was changed to be the last as she's crucified to be reborn as the Goddess of Metal . It's also a way to say farewell to their J-Pop origins (Sakura Gakuin) and fully embrace BABYMETAL :diane: .

Spoiler

Also, who doesn't want to be crucified the day after their birthday on stage while thousands of people chant "DEATH" - a literal dream :diane:

And the second one:

Ew, David!

don't get me wrong, I like Babymetal.  Their band is kick butt.  I think I haven't quite assimilated to that particular vocal style, but I think it's really cool what they are doing.

Love me some Slayer.   Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth initiated the Thrash metal movement.  I'm still on record as thinking Metallica's first album Kill Em All is still their best, although Black Album is what made them mass famous.  Black Album is still good but loses some  of the essential Thrash Elements that initially defined them.  However Black Album really set the stage for a resurgence of bands like Megadeth and really introduced a counter form of popular metal against the Alternative Metal bands at the time.   The 90's were a great time to be a fan of metal.

In my opinion Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets >>>
