Personally, I think they are a breath of fresh air and have SKILLS...like look how jazmin gobbles the other pop gerlies up Also Jazmin signed a contract to interscope (gaga's label) so hopefully we can get more music in the future!!! I agree with the above poster that the lyrics could use some work; sometimes they fit the vibe they're aiming for but other times they're really clunky. I love the alt/fetish styling! Structurally, everything is all over the place, there's no separation of elements between their verses & choruses. The lyricism itself is usually very poorly written, utilizing expletives to quickly express emotions that Jazmin can't properly express. I'm a fan of Jazmin, myself & I like quite a few of their songs. I think their music is incredibly unique & their concepts are always visually appealing, but their music is not groundbreaking or impressive enough to have any longevity or widespread appeal. Hopefully Jazmin will grow as an artist & will truly impress me in the future. I do not doubt their possiblity of growth in the future, I'm actually hoping for it. I added onto my comment about their lyricism above ^ Their visual appeal, similar to artists like Melanie Martinez, is very strong. I really appreciate how they write their songs with a visual in mind. The Saccharine video in particular a pretty awesome video! I have to give credit where it's due.
