I wonder how much Taylor will do with her next studio album...

Edit: But that also depends on other things than bundles (if she'll do a normal rollout or not, etc)

Everyone will sell much less. Some people here are just stupid saying that Ariana is flopping, while her streaming numbers are still huge. The bundles meant a lot, so it's really interesting to see how things will work for artists.

Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No

Well, i see positions kinda like a side project for Ariana. Ha Cheek to Cheek.

It’s not a side project... it’s just as valid as her previous album releases. I think she’s peaked.. Positions was a let down.

How much do bundles affects sales?

I have no idea how it was with Ariana albums so far but I remember that for Taylor Swift's Lover bundles were 40% of first week sale.

Wow that’s quite a lot! Although it’s probably not fair to compare to Taylor’s numbers since she’s such an anomaly when it comes to record sales.

Yup, but those sales were mostly from 4 deluxe editions that Swifties were buying like crazy. Same for Folklore, she released 8 different versions. If I understand correctly those are still counted for Billboard. They just don't include copies included with merch and tickets. Correct me if i'm wrong.

3 weeks actually

It depends where lol

In France it was two weeks later, but from what we saw on Instagram, Gaga was probably already quarantined a week after

Billboard counts only 4 units per card, so if one person bought all 8 versions of 'folklore" only 4 were counted.

Ariana is selling only CDs in US, she doesn't have vinyls or cassettes.
Ari need to ship her albums to customers in one week. [Billboard added this rule to stop practice of selling vinyl, CDs and other physical releases that won’t be manufactured and shipped to consumers for weeks or months].

Taylor had 8 versions of vinyls and CDs and she shipped vinyls in 16 weeks and CDs in 3 weeks and these where still counted for her first week also while she released folklore merch was still counted.
