I love how Billie presents herself as alt/girl who goes against trends and norms but endorses a bucket of worldwide capitalist brands

her teams needs to slow it down a bit it will hurt her brand she is so unique

I don’t really think that is her brand though. She’s always been branded as a name brand fashion girl from my knowledge.
The trends and norms thing is more her music, but not even there as much.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

hm I understand, as I see she always endorsed big brands but idk from her interviews and awards speeches I seem to see her more as rebel but now I am conflicted, like they are not yet having a clear picture about her brand

because that two things never go together, maybe I am just looking too much into it rly :poot:

Gucci is really trying to get the teen market it seems, first they got popular on youtube, last week they released custom content for The Sims and now this

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I get what you mean for sure. She definitely comes off as very anti-record label (?I think this is the best way to put it), and independent, and that kind of image is quite jarring when juxtaposed next to big fashion brands.

As someone who was born the same year as her, and loves her music and message and everything, thrifting is more my thing, and I know that’s the same for my friends who are fans of her’s, but I think she just likes brand clothing, and unlike us, she can afford it

She has never said that she's anti capitalist tho, most of us young adults/early 20's people are also against trends and norms and that does not mean that we don't like brands or fashion.

This has nothing to do with her "brand".

She also did collections with Bershka who is part of the same brand who makes ZARA who are know for there bad work ethics, so again it's contradicting her statement.

well yeah and Bershka is like epitome of basic girl brand so it also doesnt make sense, maybe they just want to milk her as much is possible
