Summary: It’s very unlikely Trump has the votes to catch up to Biden at this point. Assuming that every single provisional vote is counted, Trump still needs over 60% of the remaining vote (20 point lead), most of which is in Maricopa county. The last batch from Maricopa actually favored Biden, so it’s very very unlikely we’ll see batches with Trump +20 any more (the populated conservative counties have already counted their votes). The difference this time is Biden brought out more voters in cities and the suburbs than in 2016. He was the right person at the time. What you are failing to understand is that many Republicans over the past four years have become Independent. Trump always kept his Republican voters, no matter what he did. Independents that swing Republican were the problem for Trump. Also, the Lincoln Project wasn’t just for hardcore Republicans. It was against Trump for Independents and Democrats, as well. They made some of the best ads of this election year. Biden formed a coalition that won. You told me months ago he wouldn’t be able to do that, but that’s exactly what he did. Biden isn't perfect but he did what he had to do Exactly! Biden was the right person for the time. Ended up, we needed someone with experience in the Whitehouse and a “Comforter in Chief”. Also, Biden has huge support with black women and they were fired up over the racial injustice of the summer months. Lastly, Trump never could come up with a convincing attack on Biden. Voters knew Biden and liked him and weren’t going to fall for Trump’s lies and attacks against him. Biden ended up being the right candidate for this time in our nation. Progressive Democrats all won their races and reelection bids, while moderate Dems LOST up and down the ballot across the country. Yet more evidence demonstrating my point.
