The critical moment will be when media announce Biden as president elect. Especially Fox News

Trumpers showed up shouting at Detroit ballot counters but nothing like open the state domestic terror stuff. That's the red flag in watching for.

The USA having a stupid system which is based on a peaceful transition by both parties. The constitution doesn't take into account one of the parties being hostile like this

Trump‘s support is crumbling. Only his closest circle is trying to prevent what is about to happen. More and more Republicans realize that he is completely going nuts right now and rather turn their back on him than risk profoundly damaging the image of the GOP

Didn't Mitch already issue a statement like you are referring and distance himself?

That isn't gonna happen. America is far too cohesive for that.

I agree. But the crazies with their guns and who in power enables them may make us liars.

But could you honestly see Trumpies actually organizing beyond an angry mob or a couple of drunken idiots with a rope and plans to kidnap a governor?

No sensible republican wants to tie their names and reputations to a man who is losing an election and undermining democracy.

Despite how horrible GOP leaders are, they're not stupid :laughga: they want to harness the energy Trump injects into their base but they don't want their constituents to be reduced to an angry mass of frothing mouths.
