There is because some people say celebrities should stay out of politics but then they turn arround and vote for a celebrity aka trump to be their president also im not @Ziggy

Sorry to quote you. Looking from the outside of this... I think you're right they better differentiate, but the more I watch and read about the elections, the more I watch Trump, the more I think that at least surgically, at some circumstances the other side needs to go dirty too. I mean I never experience elections and candidates on my country the way it happens in America, but watching this circus, a man talking lies, using the worst tactics idk what can make the difference. Either way that Gaga video isn't even on the same category of the statements and actions that come from Trump and his people, at least to me... To get the level of outrage or condemnation I read here. It's just that... That it's so weird to me.

I can't quite put my finger on what it is about Gaga, but she always does this thing when she acts as if she belonged to a certain group/type of people. She's a chameleon at heart.

What I preferred though, was when she was not so referential, cuz it feels so empty insude.

Just because they said that Gaga is uncomfortable in her own skin doesn't mean they find her "terrible" or "pathetic". Is that how you see insecure people - terrible and pathetic? She is not a champion of self acceptance, let's just leave it at that. She advocates for it, which is commendable and very positive.

 

And obviously there must be a reason they are on this site, it doesn't always have to be YASSS MAMA I LOVE YOU GAGA...

All of this is so weird coming from Germany. Because we are so cool headed regarding news cycles and even election wise we are rather cold, open and optimistic about results, whatever they bring.

But maybe that’s because every vote counts here and every party getting more than 5% is represented in relation to their vote count. So losing is reduced to losing in complete votes regarding to the last cycle instead of losing a whole state when in actuality having 49%.

I don't think she did anything wrong. Its just that its during an election so people are worried it might affect the election, and the other side is using it to try to get votes. In another time people would just thinks its funny and not care about it.
