Prepare for the worst guys. I'm not trying to be all doom and gloom, but the next 48 hrs may be tough for some of you, so please make sure you're in a good place mentally. Take care of yourself, stay strong, and even if Biden loses, we are still here.

Here’s the tea we have so far on the Biden-Gaga event:

“Mr. Biden will end his campaign with a headlining speech at 8:50 p.m. at a drive-in event in Pittsburgh alongside award-winning musician and actress Lady Gaga.

The Biden campaign did not announce specific locations for these events.”

First: I love that she isn't afraid to voice her opinion and stands by what she thinks is best but I seriously hope everyone stays safe at these rallies tonight. I live in the southeast and at least 15 people from around my hometown have joined a large group of "proud boys" that are headed to PA. They are armed more heavily than the military and most of them have training. It is disgusting what Trump has pushed to happen with the whitelash after Obama in this country. He has given a permission slip to anyone who wants to be racist and willfully ignorant all while calling themselves christians.

Second: I get why most celebrities have simply encouraged voting and not taken sides in this election. I personally thought that was the smartest thing the democratic party could have done. So it leaves me confused to see these big names coming out at the last minute to campaign. Most Americans are not democrat or republican but middle of the aisle. One thing most have in common though is there complete disdain for seeing entertainers get political. I don't see how this is going to be that big of a boost for Biden when it could potentially turn off many middle of the road voters especially in a state like PA.

Regarding your 2nd point, people have already made their minds up, no one is going to be convinced to change their vote this late in the game. He is not bringing Gaga on stage in hopes that she will help flip some votes lmao, it is more of a celebration for those who are already voting for joe, to boost their morale going into election day. The disdain for entertainers getting political comes from trumpists who are just upset when an entertainer is not on their side, they love it when someone famous endorses trump, they post about it for weeks. So their issue is not with political entertainers, it is about political entertainers who don't hold the same political views. No one is flipping one way or another at this point
