Dr Fudge 8,625
10 years ago Riri released Loud, her fifth studio album and the following year the single “S&M” was serviced to radio and become her 10th number 1 song when she remixed it with Britney. To this day it’s one of my favorite visuals she’s ever served. From being sexy to addressing slander in the media to being fun, crazy, and over the top, the S&M music video really gave her fans something special. So here’s a reminder of this gem’s existence and I hope for those who have never seen it, they sit back and enjoy Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years. Quartz 12,515
That video needs to be HD. It's so good--offensive but not. Sexually aggressive but commercial. It's sooooo good. Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
DirrtyPony 1,330
This point in the LOUD era was massive, I remember stanning so hard S&M stills smashes and will always be an iconic moment in pop music. Strung out for another taste
PsychoMaxcara 814
Yeah, I'm still SHOOK (in the best way!). The Rated R and Loud eras were such great & iconic eras. I love how she took the concept of S&M and applied it to the world of celebrity & press, which in itself is a very toxic relationship but the truth is none could exist without the other. Celebrities need the press to remain celebrities and the press needs headlines and something to write about. It's like an abusive relationship but there's pleasure to be derived from it, one benefiting both of the parties involved (and it can be potentially quite addictive). Genius.
