The revival held promise but I haven't heard a disco album and/or song that really blew me away yet. They're a bit, to use a certain legend's word, reductive. Â NOW do I think an 80s rock-disco sound ala Blondie could work like what Miley sounds like she's interested in? Absolutely. That is something I am here for. But I think disco requires a lot more charisma than some of the folks out here today have. Personally I want big choruses. Thatâs all I want. Idc for the genre, if you canât give me a big explosive chorus, then Iâll group you in the âboring as ****â section.
