There have been many cease fires, which the Palestinian side has violated every single time. There have been many offers for a two-state solution, which the Palestinian leaders have rejected every single time. And it's for no other reason, but that they want Israel wiped off the map. They don't want a two-state solution.

Israel shouldn't be left to have it's land and people wiped off the map.

It IS a war and Israel is acting out of self defense and self protection. Hamas is a terrorist organization that routinely attacks Israel. Rockets are fired from Gaza into Israel constantly. The IDF just found a tunnel from Gaza into Israel that belonged to Hamas. The borders and military action isn't a likely situation, but it's what a country needs to do to defend itself in that situation. This isn't oppressing people for racist reasons. This is a complicated situation and to remove the context of war is to be inaccurate.

Palestinian leaders have denied Israel's two state solution offers because they don't want a two state solution. They want Israel wiped off the map. They only want one state, Palestine. They have said this many times, they haven't been shy about it. If you think the current Palestinian leaders would make peace with Israel and have two states, you're the one playing dumb.

As for the ceasefires, if Israel says they will ceasefire in specific areas they are true to their word. Their so-called "breaks" of ceasefires have been widely sensationalized by the media. For example, in 2014, Israel promised they would ceasefire in all parts of Gaza except for Rafah. So when they attacked that area, the media reported on it as if they broke their ceasefire agreement, which isn't true.

Also, you may have only said "lobby," but you defended the post I responded to which claimed the Israeli lobby tried to "buy and pay for" AOC and Omar. You were defending that remark, which is an antisemitic trope. That language ("bought and paid for") is antisemitic. If you don't understand why, again, you might need to educate yourself.
