Second human trials of Russian COVID-19 vaccine abroad, in UAE, have launched - Kremlin

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Human trials of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine have begun in the United Arab Emirates, the Kremlin said on Monday in a statement detailing a phone call between President Vladimir Putin and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

The trials in the UAE are the second trials of the Sputnik V vaccine abroad, following the launch of trials in Belarus. Trials are also expected to begin in Venezuela in the near future.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund, which is marketing the vaccine abroad, declined to comment.

Of course it didn't work...all these world leaders are rushing what takes YEARS to develop...

An Ebola vaccine took 5 years to make and that was a record breaker... 

For comparison...People want a COVID vaccine in 12 to 18 months...

Yeah, covid is tough.  It's been really nice to have a place like GGD to chat with other people in the same situation though.

It's the autumn, people are getting sick everywhere and russians are not into this vaccine, most people don't trust it tho

sis I just want to put covid behind us. I have little faith in this russian vaccine, but still sending my best wishing and positive energy towards them. their success is our success!

Russia did approve it for public use, but they didn't make it mandatory.  But there have been mass public vaccinations.
