@ZiggyZiggs Congrats for spotting Goulding's payola a year ago lol. ;)

Hahahahaha I just remembered that. Miss Goulding only charts on the hot 100 cuz of payola. Not saying she doesn’t deserve to chart but no one really cares about her music anymore, not even the UK sadly

Not listed but also payola I think: Camila, Ed Sheeran, Jonas Brothers, Bieber

It makes sense how PATD wasn't huge on radio for years until they released "High Hopes" and then the song was everywhere. It is a bop, though!

I am annoyed The Chicks label didn't do this with Gaslighter :madge:

Ellie Goulding somehow gets played without even the song being a hit, and no one buying her new album. Payola 100%

Now I obviously love Dua but this was kind of obvious :poot: Maybe this further justifies the proof that Physical (which organically debuted at #60!) deserved to be a single over BMH in the U.S. and would've grown organically instead so they wouldn't have to payola for it :fan:

I'm still annoyed they just let Physical die and moved on to the next single.

Im surprised the label had any money for it with PATD haha but I do love their last 2 albums so I think it may have been necessary for exposure rather than a career launch. The song is organically popular just not widely distributed without radio.
