Hmmm. Might be cynicism, but who could blame me:

He better not play the victim card and try to make himself absolved of his negligence through this.... IF it’s even true. 

If it true let’s hope to see some real change in attitude quickly (at least towards the pandemic). But in my opinion, this is a pity ploy.

Doubt it; most people I see commenting around the web are celebrating this moment. I don’t wish ill but as mentioned before he only has himself to blame for denying the science like he’s some immortal being.
