I’m not gonna say anything negative. But I’m honestly surprised it took THIS long? Based on his appearances, not wearing masks at the very beginning, etc. I wonder if it’s real though or some kind of strategy/conspiracy..... Honestly, I couldnt see it. Maybe if it didnt happen less than a few weeks before an election (instead earlier this year) I could definitely see him being a martyr. But if he were to die from it now, it would guarantee a Biden win. And at that point it would completely deplatform his family and someone else would rise through the ranks in the GOP for 2024. If he would die now, he would be known as the president who blew off a virus that claimed hundreds of thousands of American lives and then died of it himself. And thats assuming his children wouldnt already be sent to prison. Not to mention his children are already far less popular than Trump himself, the fact that Eric has to testify in a criminal investigation, and that Trump Jr and Ivanka are already hated to begin with after profiting heavily off his presidency. Adakam 2 Posted October 2, 2020 Share Posted October 2, 2020 I really dont see him benefiting from this, even if he is arymptomatic which I doubt, this still tells everyone "the man who is supposed to have the best safety measures in the world got it, then it means that this virus is way more contagious than what he says, that masks are indeed important, etc. And if he becomes symptomatic and has a rough process, like Boris Johnson did, voters might become very concerned about his health and long term effects, and voters run away from health issues on candidates. I think Pence has better chances than Trump does, because a lot of Biden votes are “anyone but Trump” votes. This is exactly my thought, other world leaders who blew off the virus before getting infected didnt help their cause. He met Biden during the period he would've gotten infected (he was with Hope Hicks on the plane rides there and back from the debate) But while they were there, Biden social distanced from Trump/followed COVID restrictions while there and they both got tested which should minimize the risk of it being passed to Biden.
