LaLa 19,657
I’ve been following her Instagram stories recently while she’s been on bed rest, and then in the hospital. Heartbreaking that is turned out this way, I was so rooting for them 💔

Guest
OMG NO I feel so bad for them. Chrissy has been really open with her struggles to get pregnant, so to hear this just breaks my heart so much.
dit 46,482
this is so sad. for some reason seeing their post and these photos really made me understand the impact of miscarriage. I actually called my mom after this to properly speak about her own experiences with miscarriage and to acknowledge her pain. She always tried sharing her grief about it with me and my father but I feel like I never truly understood the impact of it because I was so young. I think I just cared about how hurt my mom was/is about it and was worried about that but the heaviness associated with a miscarriage did not register with me until today. For some reason this post and photos hit me like a brick and I just felt like I had to properly acknowledge my mother's grief with her. I've always been supportive but I think it was on an artificial level...I couldn't fully understand it but today I feel like I finally understood (or as close as I can understand it of course). Sending my love to all the families but most importantly the mothers who had to go through this. truly devastating.

I wonder if this loss gave her doctors a better understanding of her fertility/pregnancy troubles. From what she's shared, it sounds like she bleeds excessively with every pregnancy ?! Women literally never learn about miscarriage in any detail and, at the very least, I think her sharing her experience thus far has informed a lot of women about these intricacies. You’re so right. A lot of the fertility and trying to conceive groups I’m in on Facebook women always ask when they should announce. Lots of women wait until they’re out of the first trimester because the miscarriage risk goes down so much then. The truth is, at no point are you at less risk. Her sharing her story normalizes miscarriage. One in four women will have to go through this. It’s so horrible. she/her/hers
