That last statement from Biden was bomb.

Awkward? It was a good point. They were fighting with a Republican Congress.

wasn't that time period a trifecta for democrats?

Between the lines, he spoke about his duty to represent all Americans, even those who will not vote for him, through measures that bring hope instead of measures of fear, through a robust economic plan that contemplates the use of clean energy with the possibility to create thousands of jobs.

In other words, he was much more elegant and coherent than Trump, who, in essence, said nothing.

Republicans won the house majority in 2010. I remember Boehner being a huge pain in the ass. They won the senate majority in 2014 which basically killed Obama's last two years in office completely.

The obstruction was ridiculous :rip:

But yeah, having a blue congress led to the ACA being passed so imagine if we're able to give the same opportunity to Biden. Especially considering Democrats are in a good position to defend the house and senate in 2022.

I'm glad that I actually came around to liking Biden as a person. I never really gave him much thought before he became the Dem nominee.

I've spent the last few weeks reading stories from his neighbors in Delaware, how he'd give these kids and voters his private phone number to keep in touch, all his colleagues adore him, and he really does come off as an empathetic and warm guy.

I'm looking forward to a Biden administration :nick: and to what comes in the future after him. I really feel like Trump has brought our country to the point that we're ready to turn the page.

Even tho these are irrelevant, the debate was such an improvement. I cant at how chill Trump was. I feel like I actually left with info this time. Lies, but still. Trump’s attacks were quite strong and effective but so were Biden’s. In the end, Biden held his own and won.

Also, Trump's big "Biden scandal" just fell apart :rip:

I’ve met him a few times. Twice as a kid when he came to my grandpas church and once as an adult when he campaigned with Barack. He remembered me and my name each time, despite being years in between.  Same dude, not perfect, but decent guy.  He’s got a sailor mouth (which I love) and actually cares.

Wow! :bradley: I'd love to meet him or Kamala honestly.

It's going to be so nice to have a human in charge again :toofunny:

Lion Heart

I just came back from watching some "focus" group. 4 people said that Trump had better "character". 1 person said the Hunter Biden thing was a deal breaker for them. Jesus Christ. :saladga:

u srs? :saladga:

I thought it went better, but where was the mute button? Oi I wish they muted the lies Trump said but that would've been like 3/4ths of the debate and that's being generous.
