Here, I will just reach for the “Ignore user” switch so I don’t have to hear a rehash of the kind of nonsense which gave us four years of Trump. Hillary being a neoliberal corporatist gave us Trump. but here we go again, blaming voters. Yikes

Trump had the rules laid out for him ahead of time, agreed to them, and still refused to follow propriety. If anything, Sanders would've gotten even more flustered. It's not Biden's job to moderate the discussion and essentially babysit his opponent, it's his job to answer the questions put before him and state his case for the presidency. Exactly! I was impressed with Biden being able to ignore as much as he did and keep calmly answering the questions, especially when Trump was attacking his son for having a drug problem and outright lying about him and slandering his name. There aren’t many parents that wouldn’t lose it at a time like that. Biden managed to answer the questions and address the American public, as much as humanly possible. At least the next debate is a town hall. That will help...unless Trump is going to yell at the people asking questions. Lol

He lost, twice, democratically, but blame the establishment or whatever sis. If you're not voting, why are you wasting your time and everyone else's time by being in here? Congratulations on being an ideologue. Happy you're exercising your privilege hunty! You don't look like a fool screaming into the void or anything at all! You don't look like a fool screaming into the void or anything at all! We live in an oligarchy, not a democracy, sis. Electoral outcomes in this country are never democratic. Your opinion about what I do with my time is not entirely relevant to me. I could just as easily ask you why you're wasting your time advocating for a racist rapist, but go off, I guess. Yes, it is a very privileged position for me to demand something from out politicians, especially something as simple as health care. So very privileged. Is the entire half of the country that doesn't vote privileged in you mind? lmao Anyone who is voting for Joe Biden and has convinced themselves that they are doing anything to change our system is a fool. He has promised his donors that nothing will fundamentally change.

Do you know what we call people who want to rule without being elected? Fascists. Autocrats. If someone thinks Bernie should be president despite not getting the votes, they should move to a place with a leader who is not Democratically elected, like Cuba or Venezuela. Bernie, of course, doesn’t want our country to become an authoritarian country; he wants European style expansion of government programs like college and health care. In fact, Bernie wants his supporters to vote and vote for Biden. My music: https://caulixtla.com/music
caulixtla 2,170
Anyway, back to topic after that trainwreck of a thread derail, The Commission for Presidential Debates says they will change the format of the debates: https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/09/30/us/presidential-debate#presidential-debates-format My suggestions: • Get Samuel Jackson and Jerry Springer to moderate things. “I said two minutes, m—therf———, and I meant two minutes” • Ability to mute the microphone, obviously. • Visible timers once the moderator says “you have two minutes to speak” • In the town hall debate, have the participants be big, heavy, tall, and burly. People like Chris Hansen “Sit down, Mr. President. Your turn is up.” • A counter showing the number of interruptions each candidate does. Adakam 2
One person offers you nothing to enter your house, another person offers you $100 dollars, but since you wanted $1000, you get mad with the $100 one, and you let the $0 guy in. Thats the logic of certain people here.

The house owner saying no to either, somehow puts the responsibility of someone getting in without the owner’s consent, somehow, on the house owner who said no. Theres no third option, and only delusional people who live in a bubble think there is. You’re missing a character. The person who actually let of of the $0 or $100 people inside. It logically cant be the person who said no to both. It’d be a fourth person who doesn’t respect the house owner’s wishes. If you can understand that concept, then the whole “a vote for a third party is a vote for Trump” argument dies. We can talk about effects of voting all day long, like how the effects of voting for Obama and Clinton lead to Trump, but that’s something else and they’re not intrinsically linked. Nobody seriously thinks a third party is going to win... criticism about Biden post-primary has and will always be about canceling Biden stans predictably being like “how dare you criticize the man who saved us from Trump 😤”, and how Biden can be better, so he doesn’t lead to Trump 2.0 like he naturally would unchallenged.
