I was hoping for a stronger Biden showing, just him calling Trump out for the piece of filth he is, but I hope the 'calm' approach works to convince people more... I just don't know anymore. Maybe American swing voters feel like just having four years without constant controversy, tweets, whatever, just be done and over with this and leave this exhaustion in the past. To us, people who pay much closer attention to politics than the average American, it was obvious that Trump was lying through his teeth throughout the vast majority of that debate and was repeating nonsense talking points, but I honestly can't imagine anyone that doesn't know much about what's going on looking at this debate and getting anything out of it.
