it's because they're all selfish capitalists like him. There's a psychological theory that right-wing people usually don't get love from their family, which causes them to become selfish and materialistic, and therefore right-wing.

Some of us grew up without all that too and still ended up left wing. It's not repeating the cycle of abuse. If I didn't get something important, I want even more for others to get it.

I paid more in tax this week. Holy cow.

These taxes fund alot of services that trumps supporters depend on. Like free lobotomy access to people who live in glass houses.

Really though. This type of tax evasion should surely land him in prison.

Daenerys

I CANNOT believe I’ve paid more in taxes than the president of my own country. I’m so baffled.

REALITY

If :applause: you :applause:  still :applause:  support :applause:  Trump :applause: then :applause:  you're :applause:  a :applause:  piece :applause:  of :applause: **** :applause:

I mean, this isn't surprising, but it's just another thing to add on the list of "deplorable and digusting things Trump has done." I've said it once and I'll continue to proudly say it again: you're a piece of **** if you support Trump in any way. This man is objectively awful. You need half a brain cell to understand that.

I’ve read through quite a bit. The most standout part for me so far is that he has stiffed his creditors by almost $300M in the past decade alone

When he got elected, it was quite a shock for many of us in the NY/NJ area, to realize how little of this was known by the rest of the country.

This is his MO. He does not change tactics. What you've seen the past four years, we been knew for over 40yrs.

He has always been a f#ckup. He has always been a conman. You dont do business with Trump...unless you think you can screw him over before he screws you.

He floats on bankruptcies. That's why he still has the appearance of success (real estate, towers) but is really broke af. It's just decoy for the next sucker who thinks he'll actually honor his word. Meanwhile, his lawyers find every way to get as much money out of it as possible, then bails through bankruptcy. Then he will litigate until you give up. That's how he bankrupted Atlantic City.

Not sure why this is a bombshell. His supporters already know he doesn't pay taxes. They think it makes him smart and they view taxation as theft :laughga:

REALITY

No, not really. As crazy as it sounds, I really don't think this moves the needle at all when it comes to his chances of re-election.

Unfortunately it doesn't, which goes to show you how ****ed up politics is in America right now. I mean, it's always been ****ed up, but this is like on a whole other level.

It's interesting...I've always thought about what the people back in the day used to think about when it came to political scandals. Like, we learn about things like the Civil Rights Movement, protests during the Vietnam War, the escalation of the Cold War, etc., etc., and I feel like for a lot of people, they think that they're so far removed from that, when the reality is that they're not...Like, what will people think of how Americans acted during the Trump presidency 50, 60, 70 years from now? I hope that they'll learn from all of this...

probably true, but this could sway some "undecided" voters.  Just how much biden hammers it, will it might have a bigger effect.

Do you think we should expect it after the first debate? In case Biden fumbles?

I think it’s coming regardless.

I mean obviously the theory isn't saying that all people who grow up with our family love become bad people or vice versa, it's just saying that a high percentage of conservatives are that way because of their upbringing.
