It’s hard to compare, they’re polar opposites sound-wise. One is dance-pop, the other is folk ballads. I’d say both are equally great, it just depends on what you’re in the mood for.

Not really. I don’t look to external validation to know that those albums are good. I Stan a bunch of underground artists that NEVER receive acclaim so maybe I’m just used to it
