Oh I don’t I’m just stating a reaction everyone else seems to have about the Grammys. They either don’t matter to people when their fav don’t win or they get excited when they do win.

But don’t act like you won’t get a little excited if Chromatica was to win album of the year. Just based on the publicity it’ll do for her.

I wouldn’t. I don’t think Chromatica is a good enough album to merit that praise  but that’s just my opinion, the same way The Scammy’s are another opinion

She is a masterful businesswoman. I mean, my interest in folklore dies in 2 weeks. I have to admit I don't resonate well with the album but I am hyper excited when she announces the album and listen to the whole of it when it was out. The way she hypes it, the way she presents it, the visuals that she accompanies it with, it was top notch. But I simply cannot replay it today like how I spin Chromatica. But I still listens to betty, hoax and peace.

During one of my lectures, we were asked to introduce ourselves and mention one thing we've enjoyed over quarantine (tv, music, YouTube channels etc).

It was a class of 50 and no less than 15 people mentioned Folklore (I dont remember exactly how many but so many people said it). 

Maybe it's not that big on GGD but in the "real world" a lot of people are enjoying the album.

I'm surprised too. I like the album but I thought it was too niche
