It's perfect as background noise if you're doing yoga, your homework or cleaning the house

Or staring out the window on a cool Fall day sipping on pumpkin flavor coffee wrapped up in your favorite sweater playing other indie music.

edit: yes this is my fall routine every year 😂

I dont think the grammys base their choices of charts performance i think it depents on what mood their in that day

People in the academy vote for it they usually vote for the albums they’re most familiar with. The more it sells, the more familiarity to most people voting.

A lot of times let’s be honest. They don’t all sit around and discuss which should be the best and listen to them all, like critics on music publications do, they send ballots. There’s a voting team for the main categories but there’s also a team for specific genre categories that also can vote for the main categories. Everyone has a vote from the most diverse genres of “experts”

So a popular choice or an older artist they’re mostly familiar with has a bigger chance at winning then a newer acclaimed artist that might not be as popular. They’re also more traditional too with their choices.

Another thing I found out is that all nominees receive a Medal of Honor for being nominated. That’s something I only found out recently.

Can’t wait for her to win all the Grammys and you all haters are going to be so angry. Hahahah

you can dislike her all you want, but the album is magical and people are loving it.
Even if you don’t like the album or her , think of how her music is making so many people happy during this difficult times.

The scammy’s awarded 1989 over Kendrick’s To Pimp a Butterfly :billie: they kind of don’t have that much meaning especially when it comes to over rewarded artists like Taylor, Adele, Beyoncé, and Gaga (yes I said it). Pop artists are over represented in nominations and over rewarded which is just a testament to the Grammy’s only ever including what is most popular and rewarding that.

PS I like Folklore. I just hate the Grammy’s as an institution and we gotta stop giving them any importance.

Everyone hates the Grammys unless their fav wins one. That’s how it goes.

”The Grammys are overrated they don’t matter”

until....

”Artist X won a Grammy, they finally got it right”

We all like to claim they don’t matter, but deep down we want our fav to win it and get excited when they do.

I have nothing against her but I don't "get" this album. Glad it's resonating with so many people I suppose!

It’s got Taylor Swifts name on it. Case solved.
