A lot of the songs on “Heaven and Hell sound wayyy too much like other songs. I think she over sampled and interpolated. It’s fine to sample but I think she overdid it or she’s straight up plagiarizing.

The truth is we don't need another Britney Spears. For one, we have already have one Britney Spears. For the other, music industry has changed so much that that kind of music is not the mainstream anymore. Artist needs to be versatile to survive, like Gaga.

no hate but it's funny how yall keep setting her up for a drag when trying to equate her to the most legendary popstars. it's insulting to women that actually were culturally and socially impactful, whereas Ava is not even a polished artist yet, and that's the least I can say about her artistry. She has potential, but her debut is just nowhere near Gaga's or Britney's debut in any way possible.

She has potential tho, but she has a LONG way to go to even be in the same sentence as these queens that were queens since the beginning. Stop setting the poor girl up and be realistic. this is absolutely deluded

Hmmmm.... part me wants to laugh, but you kinda have a point.  Even though Ava has clearly taken notes from Gaga (music AND image-wise) there’s no chance in hell she can replace her. Britney, however, hasn’t had a steady hit in a long time. I’m not saying this IS gonna happen, but if she could replace any main pop girl it would probably be Brit. 

Ava is still too new, we don’t know if she’ll be a flash-in-the-pan artist just yet. So far, I like her but she does come off kinda industry plant-y. Right now she’s very “The Fame Gaga” (even in the way she talks and presents herself kinda ) so we have to see where she goes from here.
