Ronk 14,765
Would like to share a memory. I was in 10th grade when this happened. It hit me hard. Three of the biggest Rock and Roll artists died in the plane crash at a period of time when three of the other biggest Rock and Roll artists were out of the business for a while. Seemed like the end of the world. The name of the airplane was American Pie. I live outside the space time continuum.
ANVEEROY 61,608
2. Music - 9.08 Highest Score: 11 @GaGaLB @proxy @ElleDriver @Ronk Lowest Score: 1 @Lorde Von Kok COMMENTS: @Lorde Von Kok Am I the only one that doesn't like Music ? I think it's one of her worst singles, hell, of her songs. Of course, the beat is nice, but it's very overrated. I think it's cringy, and a decline after the magnificent Ray of Light. @27monster27 An iconic groovy bop with clear references to some of her older hits. No questions or confusion at all with this going number one. @DirrtyPony First Madonna song I ever heard on the radio. It completely encompasses the vibe of the early 2000s. Nostalgia aside, it really is a bop and the perfect way to open this album. @Ulisaax640 it's basic, the beat is sick.. it's funky. not really a good album opener in my opinion. I just wanna put out that if madonna did that rock-theme in 2000 (Liquid love edition) there would have been more potential. @Blown Away I used to love the song, but I've grown so tired of it. Nowadays I have to be in the right mood to listen to it and I skip it regularly. @Pennywise This is such an amazing dance track & it still slaps in 2020, which says a lot. @Lionel Ronaldo This song really makes me want to dance. Its so nice and good to listen to. @Lucas Love the production, love the lyrics, love how Madonna has so much control over her vocals and sounds crystal clear, love the melody... Flawless song and although it has that very 2000's sound, it's pretty timeless. @whoresup A classic, I think it’s a bit basic compared to a lot of other Madonna singles but it’s still enjoyable. A bop I fact. The video is still horrible. @monstertoronto Iconic song; awesome baseline, great lead off single. @MessyTop A classic Madonna track. Iconic. @HausOfAntonio Like the perfect margherita pizza: ts deliciously cheesy. I love it. @MingersPrayer Of course this has become a Madonna classic and for good reason, but it’s never truly spoken to me. It’s fun, but that’s it. I’ve enjoyed listening to all the leaked demos over the years. Stream Kylie-Janet Discographies!
ANVEEROY 61,608
WINNER: 1. Don't Tell Me - 9.45 Highest Score: 11 @DirrtyPony @monstertoronto @HausOfAntonio @MingersPrayer Lowest Score: 6 @ChavaWM COMMENTS: @Lorde Von Kok Stop ****ing with my headphones hoe ! I love it, **** it up Madge. @27monster27 A groovy country dance song. The straightforward western-themed lyrics are really strong. Top that with good vocals, then you get a good song. @DirrtyPony The highlight of this album for me, and my most played. Such a smooth beat and catchy chorus. The outro gets me every time. This song brings back memories of staying up until the late hours of the night just waiting for this music video to play on MTV. @Ulisaax640 this one is my favorite song off of this album... @Blown Away This song used to be among my top 3 Madonna songs. Mostly because of the awesome production, I love how they mixed pop and country sounds together. Secondly because of the great vocal delivery. It's very pleasing to the ears and the catchiness of the melody is beyond compare. And that outro is so goddamn godly. @Pennywise This was a good single choice, even though the video gives me cringe. @Lionel Ronaldo Very nice song @whoresup This one bores me to be honest. I rarely listen to it all the way through. It’s not a bad song at all but it just doesn’t stand out much when the album has much more interesting songs and production. @monstertoronto One of my fave songs. The stuttering guitar, the interesting lyrics, the way it perfects the “acoustic dance song” hybrid. A classic. @MessyTopIt was a cultural Phenomena @HausOfAntonio One of my favourite Madge songs. Some of her best lyrics: “take the black off the crow, but don’t tell me I have to go” I MEAN!!! @MingersPrayer One of the all time favourites. I rememebr hearing it on the radio in the car with my dad, turning it up and exclaiming...IS THIS MADONNA? It sounded so different. Different to anything else too not just to herself. Love the video. Laughed at the tragic “MTV Becoming Madonna” episode at the time. Youtube is. So bad. Stream Kylie-Janet Discographies!
