@27monster27 Not surprising that this song has critical acclaim. Everything from the lyrics to the innovative sound of the song is what makes this amazing. I love singing it.

@DirrtyPony This song was way ahead of its time. Underrated and deserves all of the respect. One of the standouts on this album.

@Blown Away I once disliked this song. And then it suddenly hit me and now I love the song so much. The lyrics are straight to the point and greatly written. The production isn't very into your face but still manages to keep your attention. And vocally Madge shines the most on this song. You can feel the passion in them.

@Pennywise Kinda boring. The lyrics are okay but the production is not it.

@Lionel Ronaldo I really like this song. It is a beautiful message, and the beginning what she says is so true. Painful acutally.

@whoresup A really sincere and wise song. This was so ahead of its time with its message etc and the production is very relaxed and lets the lyrics and melody shine through. A bit of a random choice of single though.

@monstertoronto Haunting, beautiful, excellent lyrics and a great message.

@MessyTop Love the video version. But the album version is amazing too

@27monster27 I was so amazing by this on first listen, which was actually just over a year ago when I first heard the album. The melody, lyrics, theme, and just the overall sound are all amazing. This song definitely deserved some extra treatment of some kind.

@DirrtyPony Gorgeous song. I love a good Madonna ballad, and this one hits in all the right places.

@Blown AwayThis song sounds like a I Deserve It rehash, but not as good. I can't really connect with it, but it's still listenable.

@whoresup Simply stunning. One of my favourite Madonna ‘ballads’ because it’s simple with a lovely melody that makes me actually quite emotional. She continued this into American Life with songs such as X-Static Process, Nothing Fails and Intervention.
