My view of Paris has changed so much since I watched her This Is Paris documentary. My view of her changed so much over the years but I've done basically a 360 on her after this. The abuse that she and many others endured was eye-opening and heartbreaking and it explains completely why she is the way she is. There's a reason for everything and if we'd known all this from the beginning, her time as a celebrity could've been very different:

I never thought a Paris doc would make me cry but this had me tearing up at 39:54, 49:47, 1:03:17, 1:13:33, 1:17:09, 1:26:10 and 1:34:39. This raises a lot of awareness of important issues and deserves awards. And I knew the lyrics to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun always made me feel sad in a way I couldn't explain but hearing it be the closer to this makes it hit different. Paris probably relates to this a lot, especially the line about "some boys take a beautiful girl and hide her away from the rest of the world, I wanna be the one to walk in the sun." Its probably her life mantra.

Its made me look at a lot of these influencer girls and "famous for being famous" types differently now too. We should perhaps humanise them more.
