Let’s hope 2020 is different, but this is a bad scenario for Dems. Republicans and conservatives turn out at a higher rate if a Supreme Court seat is on the ballot. Yes, we are. Friendly reminder that it's totally illogical to expect third party voters to switch party allegiance just because your party is losing. Blame the many more thousands of registered Dems who decided to stay at home instead of voting for who their party chose. By that logic, the same third party voters could be said to have "taken" votes from Trump by not voting for him. There's no solution in blaming voters who were never in the party to begin with. This past summer showed that. Even Gorsuch had an interesting ruling in favor of Native Americans’ right to their land in Oklahoma.
