She does product placement for a reason to represent manipulation and her pop identity, just like in Telephone.

Y’all it’s literally a continuation of life imitating art and vice versa. The chick (Gaga) in the film sees “LG” and then goes on to become Lady Gaga. I’m sure they sought LG out and were like hey we have this idea are you interested in some product placement that plays into our storyline

It honestly barely felt like product placement. It's cool. LG are her initials and the slogan "Life's Good" while she's laying on the ground and dying is a really, really strong message on how corporations ignore the bad and focus on the good - something that is actively happening right now regarding the pandemic. I'm not sure if this is how LG wanted their advertisement to go, but it works. It also has the image of a man on the horse in the background - the same man that's in the start of the video.

I thought the juxtaposition of the ‘Life’s Good’ tagline fit very well within the scene. It made it all the more harrowing.
