Gays and girls of GGD: think back to when you first became a Gaga stan (whether that was 2008, 2015, or yesterday evening) and then look at yourself now.

I know that your interest in Gaga will naturally fluctuate with different eras, but ON AVERAGE, how has your obsession with Gaga changed over time?

Are you the same stan you were three, five, or even ten years ago? Why or why not?

its been up n down, i liked applause first, then the whole instrumental era happened and totally lost sight then i came back with perfect illusion, then i lost her again, then i am back before stupid love bcuz i lit thought she was going to deliver. I lost hope with stupid love and ROM but sour candy and some tracks in CHROMATICA feed me so i am still here i guess

I’ve always been there for every era. Each one hold a special place in my heart. Chromatica has got me feeling like back when I was 15 obsessed with Born this way.

It definitely has changed but in a good way. I was 18-21 around the time she released The Fame, The Fame Monster and Born This Way and I HAD to know everything about her at that time, I was obsessed with her music and would listen to it every day. Now that I'm 30 I feel like I've moved on from wanting to know all day about what she does and just focus on my life or other stuff then casually talk about her with friends. Also, I really love what she has done with her career from Cheek To Cheek to Joanne, to A Star Is Born. All of this has been quite an experience and I'm glad to see that she showed this side of her that allowed people to really appreciate her talent. As much as I've enjoyed the pop songs, just seeing her evolve as an artist makes me feel really proud about her.

By the way, I've had my ups and downs. When she released Applause I didn't really love it and thought maybe the album would be better but ended up disappointed. Of course ARTPOP has grown on me but I had a weird relationship with it at first. Probably the same with Joanne at first.

I honestly don't know if I can put it as a dot on a measuring scale

But what I do know is that I have always been and will always be there for her no matter what place she chooses to go or what she chooses to put out. She has gone out of her way to make me and million others feel seen with her artistry, her words, her actions and her compassion. The least I could do is reciprocate the love and respect. She has totally earned the admiration that she gets from fans and non-fans alike around the world

She isn't a run-of-the-mill popstar and it isn't just an ordinary artist and fan connection. It transcends beyond that. She deserves everything that comes her way and I'll support her forever :kara:

I think it depends on the day but comparing before, I think it stayed the same (mildly obsessed). I still do digital/graphics art with her as a subject like before. I only have one album each era (with The Remix).

Probably my most "obsessed" era was Born This Way, since I was only young and I had a lot of free time back then. I would also consider the Super Bowl performance to be my obsessed moment with her since I was in class during the live performance, and I had to go to the restroom just to watch the livestream. :smh:

I've realized that the happier I am in my life, the less I seek her virtual presence

I'm often here when my stress is peaking

Growing up, my obsession has also sensibly decreased. I still know everything about her, but I guess I'm not that excited about it anymore

I'm less obsessed with Lady Gaga the celebrity.... But my love for her music and artistry hasn't changed since 2008!

It has grown into a full admiration for Gaga as a personality, before it was just about the music and entertainment that Gaga would provide. I've been all about her since Bad Romance.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

It definitely decreased a little since her interviews are becoming predictible/boring and she hasn't done a proper televised performance in a while (yes, I know, vmas, but before that the 2019 oscars only I think?) The lack of promo has affected me as a fan too and now she's still my favorite artist ever but I don't see myself looking for her content as I used to. Her talent is intact and undeniable though, my love and admiration for her will be the same forever

Well I was never “obsessed” with her but my adoration has changed a bit but it has more to do with me growing up and focusing more of my time on my own life.

i don't think so. Still enjoying her artistry and being excited when she performs and serves art. But with time I think I simply learned to have no expectation. So it increased in a way, because now it's only pure joy and amusement.

hello hello baby.
