Marina - To Be Human.

I've been obsessed with this song lately, and I'm just so kind of amazed by how relevant this song still is. I know it's only a year old, but songs can age within months, but this song is still as relevant to the point where it could be released this Friday and it would fit perfectly witht he times, but that's just what I think :)

Still one of my favorites, if not my favorite, from L+F.

Be careful for thirsty geys :billie:

Or don't, however you want to live your life :lolga:

But anyway yeah, one of the best songs on the album, a while ago I didn't understand it as much as I do now, it's really one of Marina's biggest grower songs, at least to me :firega:

I literally only listened to this song the day it came out

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

This album is a bit of a mess tbh. She tried to be ~intellectual~ but it just kind of felt cliche and hollow imo. Just checking off the boxes (e.g love, spirituality/fate, reflection, independence) without really saying anything about them

I greatly disagree with you, it’s her best written album hands down. All of the examples you mentioned aren’t cliche, they’re all heavy examples of what makes us human. Reflecting upon that isn’t basic, it’s personal

I think it is a gorgeous song and is such a relevant song lyrically to our current political and world climate

Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever!
