I've still yet to watch Lynch's version but knowing how he feels about it puts me off This looks decent though. That monster at the end Honestly the original movie is not that bad imo but I agree that in this case a remake is warranted since it was such a mess the first time around
CannaeDrive 3,412
This will be epic, already looking more coherent than Lynch's movie, and I liked it nevertheless. "Fame Is A Boomerang" - Maria Callas

Dune has yet to get a proper adaptation, and tbh this looks like the day has finally come. If you check Denis Villeneuve's past work, you'll realize we're in safe hands here. I’ve only read the first one and it was a loooong time ago. No but I saw the movie and it's awful

I mean the very intro with the woman appearing and disappearing while talking with that dramatic music in the background was trying so hard to be dramatic and futuristic ughhhh, took me about 5 seconds into the movie for me to realize it was terrible And a spice doing all those things that don't relate to eachother makes absolutely no sense what's so ever I know SciFi is a genre that gets outdated quickly in production but even then, to me this was just bad
