Isn’t the RS chart different than the BB 200?

Yes, this is from Rolling Stone. BB200 is from Billboard :huntyga:

Well duh. But the rules and calculations are different. Look at Folklore. No way it’s that low on BB200...

This truly is a final nail on her career. Unfortunately she doesn't have enough talent to fight back or change career fields in entertainment industry.

I do agree to some extent, however, she knows how to play the guitar, and I think her next album should be full of beautiful acoustic style music that she can put her heart and soul into, I mean she can’t really depend that much on charts anymore, there’s not much for her to lose, and if she can make an amazing acoustic album that’s actually good, a lot like maybe Joanne, I think she could have another successful year, but maybe like 3 years from now, not this or next year :vegas:

No shade here but I was watching baby shark with my daughter and I feel Katy would have a lot of luck with these demographics. Very simple and colorful and keeps their attention. The clown is in the right direction but maybe dumb the lyrics down like a notch.

I havent even listen to one single song, not even those singles that she released months ago, i think the hawaii video came on yt once but thats it. What bout u guys?

For me, it feels like Teenage Dream and Prism, but stripped of any potential huge hits.

Never Really Over is still, by far and away, the best track on the album.

Other than that... Cry About It Later, Daisies, Tucked and Harleys In Hawaii are okay. I'm not crazy about them but they're catchy enough.

I can't stand the other tracks. I thought Smile (song) was awful when it first came out, but now, it's kind of the 6th in my top and not in the good way :awkney:

Inferno

With Smile I think Katys committed a mortal sin in pop music: being straight up boring. Its not awful by ANY means, its decent enough, but its also not great. A lot of the tracks are kind of anemic, but they're not abysmal. Its all just very so so and bland. Indifference. Indifference is a sin in pop music.

Rolling stone is delusional. Katy is bigger than Gaga and Taylor COMBINED.

They aren’t taking into account that millions of people pirated this album because she’s THAT iconic. And they haven’t even counted any of the Facebook streams. These numbers are not accurate at all. Millions (maybe even billion) ppl have heard and possess this album
