On Tuesday 28 September, celebrities from around the world will come together to help raise funds for those affected by the explosion in Lebanon.

The Sound of Beirut will see artists including Mishaal and French Montana support by way of inspirational video messages. And artists including Maya Diab, Hatim Ammor, Lady Gaga, Craig David, and more will also give live performances to show support and solidarity for the people of Beirut.

The virtual concert, which is taking place at 9pm EEST (5am Dubai time) will be free to watch on Lebanon-based streaming platform Anghami and Lebanon TV. Viewers and fans can to donate via anghami.com/helplebanon, where all proceeds will go to Global Aid for Lebanon, set up by Global Citizen to support relief efforts by The Lebanese Red Cross, United Nations World Food Programme, and the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon.

This would be awesome. I love how much Gaga is dedicating herself to philanthropy especially getting involved with the UN which (despite whining Americans' claims) helps so many countries throughout the world including my home country immensely.

I hope she donates some of her own money too. It's awesome to see we stan someone who cares about more than just dancing and singing. :kara: It's like I fall in love with her every few months now that she takes breaks and surprises us.

Also, the article has a mistake: "Tomorrow, on Tuesday 28 September, celebrities from around the world will come together to help raise funds for those affected by the explosion in Lebanon." They meant 8 September, aka last night.

Soft, soothing, and succulent
